Test environment - The WINSENT test site is an open and globally unique research, development and test platform in complex mountainous terrain. Utilise the real and virtual environment of our test site for your research and development projects. Test and trial new components and software and benefit from our comprehensive measurement and IT infrastructure.
Research network - The WINSENT test site is supported by the Wind Energy Research Cluster WindForS - a network of over 25 groups at seven universities and research institutes in southern Germany. The WindForS members are working together to make wind energy utilisation more sustainable and efficient. Benefit from the comprehensive expertise of the network and start your next research project together with us.
Open Science - We are actively committed to the principles of open science - open data, open source and open access. Our aim is to make research results as accessible and reusable as possible, whether for practical application or for future research and development projects. In this way, we help to reduce social acceptance barriers and promote the transparency of energy and climate policy decisions. Our data portal gives you access to current and historical measurement data.
